Where can I purchase a new Yamaha alto saxophone?
Hi, I'm a seventh grade guy who's in the school Jazz Ensemble, and I'm kind of getting sick of my old YAS 200AD. I know it's supposed to be a good horn and all, but the thing is, it's just not good enough anymore. I've searched the web for days now, and I still can't get a straightforward answer on where to buy new quality saxophones. I have the YAS 26 and the YAS 575AL in mind right now, and I live in New Jersey. Can someone please tell me where to buy a new saxophone not online but in a music store . Thanks
Lips and embouchure failing out on Alto Saxophone?
I play the Alto sax in my middle school ban and i love it, the only problem is after a certain amount of strait playing around 35 50 mins my embouchure just does a crash dive, my lips pull back like a smile, i can barely play any notes, and i can barely make any sound just with my lips failing out, is their anything that could help mestrengthenn my embouchure and help me, also i need help being more confident with my sound and playing because last year the saxophones did horrible and it was my first year so it beat me down quite a bit.it is currently my second year with my sax
Is there a big note change between the clarinet in B and a barry saxophone?
My band director needs a clarinet to switch to the barry saxophone, so I offered to switch. How big is the difference between the sheet music and can I read off of the other saxophone's sheet music i.e two tenor and alto saxophones no other barry saxophones? Thank you in advance for helping me.
