Recently i have become very interested in Saxophone music and i am searching for a place to get a cd or download Saxophone solos with just a Sax and no accompanying instruments. So far i have been limited to listening to such Sax solos in youtube videos.

I am kind of frustrated on how I sound on an alto saxophone, I tried many other saxophones at a music store, even a $1,800 Yamaha Alto Saxophone and I sound the same.Why does a kid sound funny on a saxophone? How come when an adult plays it they sound professional and when a kid plays it, they sound funny and a thin tone? It sounds like magic for an adult and for a kid it sounds like a clarinet.
